The opportunity
Lead Omega Institute's fundraising strategy at a pivotal stage of organizational growth and prepare a comprehensive campaign for its 50th anniversary. As a member of the executive leadership team, the Chief Development Officer expands major-gift and institutional support, strengthens donor stewardship, partners with the board and senior leaders, manages development operations and budgets, and coaches a growing development team.
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- At least 10 years of progressive nonprofit fundraising and development experience, including five years in leadership.
- A record of securing major gifts, cultivating high-net-worth donors and leading comprehensive campaigns.
- Strong strategic planning, budgeting, team leadership and donor-communications skills; Raiser’s Edge familiarity is preferred.

Schedule
Full-time, exempt role based at the Rhinebeck campus, with potential hybrid or remote flexibility. Weekend campus availability is required for donor events and gatherings when workshops are in session.
